The Rose has made a £250 donation to Yorda Adventures. Neilcott Construction saw the great work that Yorda Adventures do, and decided to choose them as their charity of the year and decided to take on a London to Brighton cycle challenge to raise money for the cause.
Yorda Adventures is a not-for-profit community organisation that works with families in and around the borough of Kingston-upon-Thames. They pride themselves in providing engaging and stimulating play projects for children and young people with severe learning disabilities.
More details on the Yorda Adventures can be seen on their website www.yordaadventures.co.uk.
At the Rose, we chose to support Yorda Adventures due to the fact that we pride ourselves in helping young people to develop their capabilities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. We also support charities who provide support and activities for young people which develop their skills, capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals.
