"One in five of Britain's biggest charities spend less than 50 per cent on good works"

As a charity with 100% output, we feel even more proud to make that clear, after a recent article that stated that one in five of Britain's biggest charities spend less than 50% on good works.

True and Fair Foundation produced this report and they found that one in five of the country’s biggest charities spend less than 50% of the money that they raise on charitable activities.

The news is disappointing for donators who put their money into charities and have now realise that maybe only 40% of their donation will actually go to those in need. The worst culprit on the list was Lloyds register who donated only 1% of their £1billion turnover.

At the Rose, we are extremely proud that we are a 100% out charity. Every single penny that is raised by the charity, is put towards those individuals and charities that we support. All costs and administration is funded by our wonderful sponsors, Akzo Nobel, GRS and Roseville Projects.
