Rose Ambassador wins Gold at Para-Cycling International

Our Ambassador, Jaco van Gass, is an ex serviceman who was badly injured in Afghanistan. After returning to the UK, Jaco has overcome adversity, completed marathons, the North Pole and attempted Everest.

Jaco is now on the GB Academy Cycling team and we’re supporting him on his Road to Rio. This weekend, he competed in the Manchester Para-cycling International and achieved outstanding results.

Jaco won Gold in the C4 Individual Pursuit, Silver in the Scratch Race, Bronze in the Mixed Team Sprint and 4th place in the C4 Kilo race. He had a visit from a good friend of his, Prince Harry who came to show his support to Jaco and the team. These results will considerably help Jaco’s chances of reaching Rio next year.

A huge congratulations to Jaco and the rest of the GB team.
